Headquartered in Greenbelt, Maryland, Bozzuto is a diversified real estate company highly recognized for its developments, construction, property management, and homebuilding.
Bozzuto’s construction division has field paperwork they require subcontractors to complete. “We have several critical field paperwork requirements, like confined spaces, hot work forms, and equipment inspections to name a few,” explained Tamara Kaye, Application Specialist for Bozzuto. “It was difficult for our team to keep track of our subcontractors to ensure forms were filled out and then filed correctly.” With Procore already incorporated into their tech arsenal, the Bozzuto team recognized a deficiency in their form collection process. They needed a solution that would improve the efficiency of this process, while seamlessly integrating with their Procore ecosystem. “I found GoFormz on the Procore marketplace, gave it a try, and that’s how we got started.”
Implementing GoFormz was a seamless experience for the Bozzuto team. “GoFormz was very helpful. We already had a PDF of the form we wanted digitized. So they met with me, walked me through how to set up a template for my form, and then proceeded to help me set up my workflows,” explained Kaye. As Bozzuto collaborates with various subcontractors across multiple projects, they needed assistance implementing online form sharing (Public Forms), configuring Automated Workflows, and verifying the seamless functionality of their integrations. “I told GoFormz what I needed to happen, they got my account set up quickly, we tested it, had to tweak a few things, and then we were up and running! The process was really easy and the team was extremely friendly and helpful.”
Bozzuto’s field teams immediately took to GoFormz, their new digital forms solution. “We had a field team test out GoFormz and after that testing group, everyone wanted it. They loved it!” GoFormz is especially used across their safety department. “The team really picked up GoFormz fast and our safety team especially uses it when it comes to hot work forms.”
Due to the effortless onboarding process, Bozzuto found that creating additional forms became a simpler task. “It was fairly easy for me to create simple forms as well. I was able to create things on the fly,” explained Kaye.

Bozzuto elevated their construction data capture workflow by integrating Procore with GoFormz. Connecting GoFormz to Procore empowers teams to use digital forms that look exactly like existing paper forms as a digital front-end to Procore data capture and processing. Additionally, users can instantly update Procore projects with data from the field and automatically route data to the correct project using Procore project IDs. “We have data that comes from our subcontractors about our projects and their locations, and we can automatically file those forms and information in Procore,” explained Kaye. “Procore acts as our main database for all of our projects and then GoFormz fills the gaps, making sure data continues to update across our Procore records.”
Bozzuto utilizes GoFormz’s online form sharing feature, Public Forms, for their form collection and routing. Digital forms are shared with subcontractors for on-site completion, which triggers Bozzuto’s automation processes. “Two of the workflows we have are for our safety documents, confined space and hot work,” explained Kaye. “The subcontractor will fill out a form and then our superintendent will immediately receive an email they can approve or modify with additional information. That then triggers a text message to our subcontractors, prompting them to finish filling out and signing the form.”
The Bozzuto team has experienced significant time savings since implementing GoFormz. “We’re definitely saving time with GoFormz because it reduces user error and helps to prevent things from getting filed incorrectly,” explained Kaye. “It’s much faster for our subcontractors because forms are automatically filed from the field. This time saved allows people to focus on other critical aspects of their jobs.”
